The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: FX, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something this new, that coverage is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
